Privacy Policy

FVVC feels strongly that protecting our clients' privacy is an extremely important part of our service.  We will never sell or share a client or pet’s information with a third party.  The only cases in which we will release personal information are when mandated by a government organization or in cases where we have written request or consent from the client.   For example, if medical or vaccination information is needed for a grooming facility, boarding kennel, or another party, we will only release that information when it is directly requested by the client.

kitty1.pngAppointments

In an attempt to keep your visits as time-efficient as possible, doctor and assistant appointments are preferred.  We are usually successful at providing appointments for ill patients within the day the concern is presented to us.

Emergency & Urgent Care

Urgent care concerns will always be seen during our regular business hours. Please call ahead whenever possible to enable us to be prepared for your arrival.   Urgent care visits take priority once a patient arrives, so a greater cost is associated with them.

After-Hours Emergency

Urgent Care services are available outside of regular office hours.  There are two fully staffed emergency facilities in our area.

Restraint Policy

For the protection of your pet and others, we request that pets be properly restrained when entering the clinic.  Dogs should be leashed and properly controlled by an adult while in the clinic.  Cats should be kept in carriers, leashed, or otherwise similarly restrained.

Surgery Policy

Routine surgeries and dental procedures are performed on Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday by appointment.  We ask that pets be brought to us between 7:30 and 8:00 A.M. on the morning of their surgery.  The pet should receive no food after 8 pm the night prior to surgery, but water is fine until the pet is dropped off.  Pre-anesthetic blood work is recommended for all patients undergoing anesthesia, however, we do require blood work for patients 8 years and older.

Emergency surgical procedures will always be performed as they are required.

Types of Pets Seen

Our veterinarians at Fox Valley Veterinary Clinic, primarily focus on the care of dogs and cats, but we can care for other species on a limited basis. These would include:

  • Rabbits
