Dr. Gillham graduated from the University of Illinois with an Animal Sciences degree in 2002. After many years working as a veterinary technician for a small animal/exotic practitioner, she went back to fulfill her dreams of becoming a veterinarian and attended the University of Illinois college of Veterinary Medicine. After graduation, she completed a rigorous small animal rotating internship at VCA Arboretum View Animal Hospital in Downers Grove. During this time, she was able to elevate her abilities in Neurology, Dermatology, Internal Medicine, Surgery, Oncology, and Emergency Medicine. She also has many years of experience, and a deep interest, in the care of exotic pets. This area of veterinary medicine we are now excited to be offering our clients.
Dr. Gillham and her husband, Jeff, have a daughter, Charlotte, and a dog, Marty.
